Love Is Blind: UK has returned for its second season with a fresh group of 30 singles from across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The show follows the same format as the global hit, where participants aim to form emotional connections and get engaged without ever seeing each other. Hosted by married couple Matt and Emma Willis, the season began streaming on Netflix on August 13, 2025. The cast includes a diverse mix of professions, backgrounds, and personal stories, all united by their goal to find lasting love.
The participants range in age from 26 to 37. This season features a dating app creator, a gaming entrepreneur, a professional dancer, a DJ, and a self-described “mummy’s boy.” Some have never been in serious relationships, while others are divorcees or have ended long-term partnerships. They all enter the pods hoping to connect with someone on a deeper level, beyond physical appearance.

Billy is a 35-year-old Army physical trainer from Bangor, Northern Ireland. He is divorced after a whirlwind romance but remains a strong believer in marriage. He wants a life partner who will join him for pints of Guinness and build a family that includes his dog Ollie .
Charlie is a 28-year-old electrical engineer from Essex. A former party boy, he has struggled to escape the friend zone in past relationships. He is now drawn to older, more mature women and is ready to find love after a recent breakup shattered his confidence .
Chris is a 33-year-old project manager from Sussex. He describes himself as a numbers nerd and hopes to find a funny, family-oriented woman who loves animals. His friends and family see him as a kind and generous person who always thinks of others .
Demola is a 30-year-old financial analyst from Essex. An old-school gentleman, he has been marriage-minded since childhood and even fantasized about his wedding as a boy. Kal is a 31-year-old gym owner from Wigan. He has big blue eyes and plans to live to 100, but he needs a partner to join him. He has a “one-year curse” as all seven of his previous relationships ended before the 12-month mark. He is determined to break this pattern and find a wife .
Kieran is a 28-year-old gaming entrepreneur from London. A member of Mensa who was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, he is successful in business but seeking similar success in love. After 18 months of being single following a seven-year relationship, he is ready to find a wife, whom he calls the “final boss” in the game of love .
Patrick is a 33-year-old Human Design coach from London. He is deeply spiritual and says he is guided by his “splenic instinct” to know if he has met the right woman. He ended his longest relationship because he didn’t know himself well enough but has since done personal work and is now ready for love .
Ross B is a 32-year-old builder from Dunstable. A former military man and rom-com lover, he is searching for a “movie kind of love” that includes kissing in the rain and a happily ever after. His most recent relationship ended four years ago, and he now wants a partner who will be his best friend for life .
Ross M is a 30-year-old barber shop owner from Cheshire. His clients often describe him as a therapist, but he avoids giving relationship advice due to his own single status. The pod phase of the experiment led to several engagements. Billy proposed to Ashleigh, bonding over their shared respect for the armed forces and overcoming Billy’s fear about their conflicting work schedules .
Kal proposed to Sarover, connecting over their shared desire for marriage and navigating their different South Asian heritages (he is half-Pakistani, she is Indian) .
Kieran proposed to Megan after a strong connection built on shared goals for a family and an intense physical and emotional bond .
Jed proposed to Bardha, bonding over their similar immigrant family backgrounds (he is Lebanese, she is Albanian) and traditional values .
Javen proposed to Katisha after a complicated pod experience where he competed for her affection with Demola .
Not all connections ended in engagement. Patrick had a flirtation with Aanu but ultimately turned her down, despite her being ready to get engaged . Demola was heartbroken when Katisha rejected his proposal and instead chose to get engaged to Javen .
Drama and Conflict in the Experiment
The experiment is not without its drama. Javen was accused by fellow contestant Megan of flirting with multiple female cast members at a mixer after he was already engaged to Katisha. This led to a major confrontation, with Katisha ultimately ending the engagement and leaving the experiment .
“I have no desire to speak to Javen again. I’ve been in relationships like this before, and I’ve trusted them, and I’ve taken them back again and again and again. I didn’t come here to make the same mistakes,” Katisha said .
Javen denied the allegations and was frustrated by Katisha’s decision to leave without a full conversation .
Patrick also drew attention for his unique approach to dating, insisting that following his “splenic instinct” was more powerful than following his gut. This philosophy did not ultimately lead him to a proposal .
The journey for the engaged couples is just beginning. They must now navigate their first meetings, a honeymoon in Cyprus, moving in together, meeting each other’s families, and ultimately deciding whether to say “I do” at the altar in just a few weeks .
