The Walter family ranch is getting more crowded. Netflix has added three new cast members to the upcoming third season of My Life With the Walter Boys. The new actors will play roles that directly impact the show’s central love triangle and a long-absent family member whose return will shake the Walters’ home.

Production for Season 3 has already finished in Calgary, Canada, and the season is set to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2026. This follows the major cliffhangers left at the end of Season 2, which left Jackie’s heart and the Walter family’s future in question.

Meet the Three New Faces in Silver Falls

The new cast members will join the show in recurring roles, each bringing a fresh dynamic to the story set in Silver Falls, Colorado.

Chad Rook will play Mac, a cool drag racer. Mac hires Cole Walter to work on the engine of one of his racing cars. After seeing Cole’s natural skill behind the wheel during a test drive, Mac is impressed by his abilities. Chad Rook is known for his roles in It: Welcome to Derry and Joe Pickett.

Naveen Paddock joins the cast as Eliot. Described as handsome and charming with an air of New York sophistication, Eliot arrives in town as the new intern for Jackie’s Uncle Richard. His presence is set to pull Jackie between her past life in Manhattan and her current life in Colorado. Naveen Paddock has previously appeared in Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and Anything’s Possible.

Erin Karpluk will portray Hannah, a pivotal new character. Hannah is the nomadic sister of George Walter and the mother of Isaac and Lee Garcia. Described as a free spiritโ€”or irresponsible, depending on one’s viewโ€”Hannah previously left her sons to live with the Walters before leaving for unknown reasons. Her sudden return after a long absence means she has many relationships to mend. Erin Karpluk is recognized for her lead role in Being Erica and her work in Smoke.

How New Characters Connect to Season 2 Cliffhangers

The new arrivals are poised to directly address the unresolved drama from the end of Season 2. The finale left multiple storylines in crisis. Cole finally confessed his love for Jackie, and she shockingly admitted she loved him back. This moment was witnessed by Alex, who had been secretly seeing Jackie. Before this love triangle could explode, the scene cut to an ambulance arriving for George Walter, who appeared to collapse.

Showrunner Melanie Halsall has spoken about the challenge ahead. โ€œIt was a pretty big revelation at the end of Season 2, and we canโ€™t just ignore that,โ€ Halsall said in an interview with Netflix’s Tudum. โ€œShe also canโ€™t keep bouncing between two boys. How we tackle that will be a really interesting challengeโ€.

The character of Eliot, with his New York background, seems designed to test Jackie’s connection to her old life just as her romantic life in Colorado reaches a boiling point. Meanwhile, the return of Hannah, George’s sister, adds immediate family pressure following the cliffhanger surrounding George’s health.

โ€œI donโ€™t know how theyโ€™re going to recover from all of this trauma thatโ€™s just ensued,โ€ actor Ashby Gentry, who plays Alex, said about the Season 2 ending. โ€œYou want to talk about an elephant in the room, thatโ€™s a massive oneโ€.

What to Expect in the New Season

While specific plot details are under wraps, the show’s creator has hinted at several ongoing storylines. Melanie Halsall mentioned exploring the new romance between Kiley and Dylan, and its effect on Alex. She also noted that the series will continue to follow Jackie’s goal of becoming student body president and how she deals with the fallout in the Walter family.

The show aims to balance its teen stories with more intergenerational narratives. This could involve adult relationships like the dynamic between guidance counselor Tara and English teacher Nikhil, or the hinted flirtation between Tara and Uncle Richard.

Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys proved popular on Netflix. It spent five weeks in the streamer’s Global English Top 10 TV list and reached the Top 10 in 85 countries. Fans will have to wait until 2026 to see how Jackie, Cole, and Alex navigate the new complications brought by Mac, Eliot, and Hannah.
