The Netflix lineup for 2026 is packed with new seasons of fan-favorite series and several long-awaited returns. From the romantic drama of Bridgerton Season 4 to the epic adventure of One Piece Season 2 and the final season of The Witcher, subscribers have a full year of content to plan for. The streamer officially revealed its slate on January 7, 2026, providing dates for many major titles while confirming others will arrive later in the year.
Winter Premieres: January and February 2026 Releases
The new year starts strong with a mix of final seasons, live events, and new series. Kicking off the winter slate is the mystery thriller His & Hers, starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, which arrives on January 8. The popular Japanese reality series The Boyfriend returns for its second season on January 13, this time set in snowy Hokkaido.
A major literary adaptation arrives on January 15 with Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials, a three-part mini-series featuring a cast including Mia McKenna-Bruce, Martin Freeman, and Helena Bonham Carter. The same day, the long-running family sitcom The Upshaws returns for its seventh installment.
January also features the launch of the live talent competition Star Search, hosted by Anthony Anderson, on January 20. This is followed by the final season of the beloved makeover series Queer Eye on January 21, where the Fab Five take on Washington, D.C..
The month concludes with one of Netflix’s biggest releases. Bridgerton Season 4, Part 1 premieres on January 29. The romance continues in February, with Part 2 scheduled for February 26.
February brings more returning favorites. The legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer returns for its fourth season on February 5. The popular dating show Love Is Blind launches its tenth season on February 11. Action-thriller fans can mark their calendars for February 19, when The Night Agent returns for its third season.
Spring and Summer Schedule: Key Series from March to August
March is a significant month for genre fans. The live-action One Piece series continues its voyage with Season 2, titled Into The Grand Line, on March 10. The romantic drama Virgin River comes back for its seventh season on March 12, continuing the stories of Mel and Jack.
Spring also sees the return of a critically acclaimed series. The award-winning anthology Beef returns for its second season on April 16, featuring a new star-studded cast including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny.
June brings back comforting romance with Sweet Magnolias Season 5 on June 11. Summer will feature the return of the French gentleman thief in Lupin Season 4, currently scheduled for a Fall 2026 release.
Major Confirmed Returns Without Specific Dates
Netflix confirmed a long list of other returning shows for 2026 that do not yet have specific premiere dates. These include high-profile second seasons like Avatar: The Last Airbender, 3 Body Problem, and The Gentlemen.
Several popular dramas are set to come back, including Emily in Paris Season 6, Outer Banks Season 5, and The Diplomat Season 4. The final season of the fantasy epic The Witcher, now starring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt, is also confirmed for a 2026 release.
Reality and competition fans can look forward to new seasons of Perfect Match, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, and Love on the Spectrum. Animated returns include Devil May Cry Season 2 on May 12 and Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, a new animated spin-off from the Duffer Brothers.

2026 will be the last dance for several notable series. Alongside Queer Eye, the fifth and final season of The Witcher will debut. The Empress will also conclude with its third season.
Netflix continues to expand its live sports and event offerings. Beyond the weekly live episodes of Star Search, the schedule includes MLB Opening Night on March 25 and a NFL Christmas GameDay event on December 25.
