“Lost in Starlight” marks Netflix’s first venture into South Korean animated movies. Kim Tae Ri and Hong Kyung, known for their roles in “Revenant,” provide voiceovers for the main characters. The movie follows Nan Young, a young astronaut who is determined to find her mother, who disappeared during a mission to Mars. Her journey includes meeting Jay, a musician who repairs old sound equipment, suggesting a blend of space exploration and personal connections.
