The new K-drama Nice to Not Meet You has set the stage for a major turn in its story, and the next two episodes are almost here. The series, starring Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon, premiered its first two episodes last week on tvN and Prime Video. The story follows a famous actor trapped in a detective role and a journalist moved from political news to entertainment reporting. After episode 2 ended with the journalist, Wi Jeong-sin, completely captivated by the actor she was supposed to investigate, viewers are eager to see what happens next. The upcoming episodes will continue the story this week.
Where and When to Watch
Episodes 3 and 4 of Nice to Not Meet You will air on the Korean channel tvN at 8:50 PM KST on Monday, November 10 and Tuesday, November 11. For viewers around the world, the series is available to stream globally on Amazon Prime Video. New episodes are expected to be available on the platform after they finish airing on TV.
The show is part of Prime Video’s regular subscription and does not require an extra purchase. New users can watch it through a 30-day free trial. The series offers multiple audio and subtitle language options, including English, Spanish, French, and Japanese.
Story Development and Preview
The first two episodes built a rocky foundation between the two main characters. Lee Jung-jae plays Lim Hyun-joon, an actor who made a successful comeback after a scandal but is now tired of being typecast as a detective. Lim Ji-yeon plays Wi Jeong-sin, an award-winning political journalist who was demoted to the entertainment beat. After a series of public misunderstandings caused by Jeong-sin, she was tasked with writing a profile on Hyun-joon.
Initially holding a grudge, Jeong-sin planned to dig up dirt on him. Her boss advised her to research Hyun-joon’s work properly, so she watched his hit detective series. Instead of finding negative information, she found herself completely drawn in by his performance. Episode 2 ended with Jeong-sin mesmerized by Hyun-joon in person, unable to separate the actor from his character.
According to previews, the story will take a more serious turn. Hyun-joon is shown being admitted to a hospital after a suspected suicide attempt. His ex-girlfriend, played by Oh Yeon-seo, visits him, adding tension. Meanwhile, Jeong-sin is also seen at the hospital, possibly going undercover to investigate the situation. Their paths are set to cross again in this new setting, creating another turning point in their complicated relationship.
