- Miles Fowler as Lenny: Fowler plays Lenny, a confident teammate on Noah’s basketball team, the Matzah Ballers, who gets set up with Morgan.
- Alex Karpovsky as Big Noah: Karpovsky appears as a recurring guest star, an overly confident rabbi at Noah’s temple.
- Arian Moayed as Dr. Andy: Moayed plays a charming and highly regarded psychotherapist who might be a perfect match for Morgan. Foster described their pairing as “so unexpected and fun to watch.”
- Seth Rogen and Kate Berlant: The show also features guest appearances by Seth Rogen and Kate Berlant. Co-showrunner Jenni Konner said their “energy together was a dream,” and that “when you get brilliant people to come in, it makes your writing and the show better.”
What Season 2 Is About
The new season explores what happens after the first rush of love. Joanne and Noah now have to navigate their day-to-day lives together, dealing with each other’s friends, family, and personal routines. The cultural differences that challenged them in Season 1 remain, and Noah’s decision to sacrifice his career goal for their relationship will be a central theme.
