The Korean Business Research Institute has released its highly watched brand reputation rankings for drama actors and television shows for the month of October. The rankings, which measure the popularity and public influence of stars and their projects, are based on an analysis of extensive data including media coverage, audience interaction, community participation, and viewership. This month’s results showcase a clear winner, with one fantasy rom-com and its leading actor dominating the competition.
The Reigning Champion: “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty”
Securing the top position for dramas is “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” with an impressive brand reputation index of 13,170,906. This score places it far ahead of all other contenders. The show’s analysis revealed highly positive audience responses, with a positivity score of 94.19 percent. Key terms often associated with the drama in online discussions included “no retreat,” “surpass,” and “record,” indicating strong viewer engagement and performance.
The success of the drama is further reflected in the actor rankings. Lee Chae Min, one of the stars of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” claimed the number one spot among all drama actors. He achieved a brand reputation index of 3,482,313. His performance was frequently described with words like “powerful,” “immersed,” and “sweet” by audiences and media, and his own positivity score was a remarkable 91.34 percent.
Top Contenders in the Drama Rankings
The race for the top five dramas was competitive, with several shows making a strong showing based on the data analyzed from September 6 to October 6.
Following the dominant leader, “Shin’s Project” took second place with a brand reputation index of 4,903,523. In a very close race for third, “Our Golden Days” earned a index of 4,890,936. The drama “A Hundred Memories” secured the fourth position with a score of 3,868,941, while “You and Everything Else” rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,766,014.

Stars Shining in the Actor Rankings
The actor rankings, which analyzed data from 50 performers between August 11 and September 11, highlighted the individuals generating the most buzz.
In second place behind Lee Chae Min was Ma Dong Seok, known for his role in the KBS drama “Twelve”. He garnered a brand reputation index of 3,170,065. Meanwhile, Kang Han Na, who played a villainous role in “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” demonstrated the show’s widespread impact by taking third place with an index of 2,330,978.
Fourth place went to Choi Yoon Ji of “Love, Take Two” with a score of 1,941,975. Yang Se Jong, star of “Low Life”, completed the top five actors with a brand reputation index of 1,841,040.
