The episode, titled “Silver Alert,” opened with the trio fulfilling their podcasting contract with Wondify by interviewing Mayor Beau Tillman. With their investigation silenced by their billionaire suspects who now own the network, they could not discuss the case. However, once his assistant left the room, the mayor dropped his public persona. He privately told Charles, Oliver, and Mabel that if they suspected tech mogul Bash Steed of the murder, he was likely guilty.
Mayor Tillman explained that Bash has deep influence in the city, having donated to his campaign and the police force, making him “literally above the law.” He revealed that Bash, along with rivals Camila White and Jay Pflug, was holding a secret meeting at his remote country estate. Armed with this tip, the trio decided to crash the billionaires’ gathering to find proof.
Inside the Billionaires’ Bizarre Game Night
Upon arriving at the isolated Connecticut mansion, the trio was immediately unsettled. She then revealed her true plan. The mysterious offers to buy apartments in the Arconia, including the one Oliver received, were part of her scheme. She intends to buy the entire building and turn it into “The Camila Club,” a luxury casino.
