A Heartwarming Premiere
Park Bo Gum’s return as an MC on KBS2’s “The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile” showcased his talents and warm personality. The show’s premiere featured surprise visits from his “Love in the Moonlight” co-stars, Kwak Dong Yeon, Kim Yoo Jung, and Jinyoung.
The trio’s introductions were both humorous and touching:
“Kim Yoo Jung: “I’m the vestibular system that keeps Bo Gum oppa balanced when he feels dizzy.”” “Jinyoung: “I’m the lungs that help Bo Gum hyung breathe through everything.”” “Kwak Dong Yeon: “I’m the strong pillar—his supportive back muscles.””
Kim Yoo Jung jokingly predicted that Park Bo Gum would cry every week. Kwak Dong Yeon added that he cried so much during rehearsal that “the wooden floor absorbed all the moisture.”
Park Bo Gum explained his emotional reaction:
“Seeing my dear friends take time out of their crazy schedules to support me… I could feel their encouragement just by looking at them, and I suddenly teared up.”
Jinyoung revealed that he changed his schedule to attend the show.
“I actually had a script reading today, so I originally couldn’t come. But when the schedule got pushed back, I immediately called Bo Gum to say I’d be there.”
The three friends surprised Park Bo Gum with a special performance.
“Kwak Dong Yeon confessed, “We didn’t even practice it out loud during rehearsals because we wanted to keep it a surprise.””

There was a really difficult scene once, and even when he was drained, he told the director, ‘I could’ve done better, I’m so sorry.’ Watching that made me think, ‘Why am I not that kind of person?’ and it frustrated me.”
