In a behind-the-scenes clip shared by Netflix Korea’s YouTube channel, Park Seo Joon, one of the lead actors in Gyeongseong Creature Season 2, opened up about his emotional experience while filming a pivotal kiss scene with co-star Han So Hee. The scene, which captured a reunion between their characters, was described as highly emotional.
Park Seo Joon reflected on how the setting added to the intensity of the moment. He commented, “It felt like the two of [them] were the only ones left in the world,” emphasizing how the minimal presence of people during the shoot enhanced the intimate nature of the scene.
“This was a single-take scene. There weren’t a lot of people in the area at the time we shot this scene. So it really felt like the two of us were the only ones left in the world.”

The scene stood out for its simplicity and natural flow, as director Jung Dong Yoon explained his vision behind it. He shared his intention of capturing the scene from a distance, allowing the raw emotions of the characters to unfold naturally.
“I wanted it to be a simple scene. I wanted it to be like observing from a distance, from Tae Sang’s perspective. I was particularly pleased with how naturally the scene flowed—from Chae Ok tossing her coat off and the two of them falling into an embrace. Personally, it turned out to be one of my favorite scenes.”
