Recap of Episode 10: The Shocking Case Twist
Episode 10 focused on a heartbreaking new client. Chae Jeong-hee (played by Gil Hae-yeon) came to Shin Yi-rang’s office. She was not a ghost but a living client. She asked Yi-rang to help with her dead husband’s will. Her husband, Kang Dong-sik (played by veteran actor Lee Deok-hwa), had Alzheimer’s. The couple wrote a will leaving everything to the son of a North Korean woman named Seon-hwa.
The case turned messy when Yang Do-kyung ( Kim Kyung-nam ) got involved. Do-kyung pointed out that the will was written after 2020, not in 2019. He accused Chae Jeong-hee of faking the date. The biggest shock came when Do-kyung revealed that Chae was the one who gave Seon-hwa to the police years ago. She accused Seon-hwa of being a spy out of jealousy. This changed everything. Yi-rang and Na-hyun now had to defend a client who might have caused the whole tragedy.
Meanwhile, the teaser for Episode 11 dropped a huge clue. It suggests that Seon-hwa might still be alive. This will change the legal battle completely.
The Growing Bond Between Yi-rang and Na-hyun
The drama is not just about the cases. Episode 10 showed the lawyers getting closer. Han Na-hyun finally said goodbye to the ghost of her sister, Han So-hyun. This was an emotional moment for Na-hyun. Yi-rang was there to support her. After this, they officially became partners. They opened the “Shin Yi-rang-Han Na-hyun Law Office”.
Their first case together is the Chae Jeong-hee trial. Na-hyun handles the logic and paperwork. Yi-rang uses his special ability to talk to the ghost of Kang Dong-sik. The ghost holds the key to the truth about the will.
“Episode 10 is meaningful as Shin Yi-rang and Han Na-hyun coordinate their steps as ‘roof-sharing partners’ for the first time. We hope viewers look forward to the synergy of the two lawyers’ collaboration.” — SBS Production Team

Episode 11 will focus on the trial. Yi-rang and Na-hyun face a big problem. Their client may be guilty of sending an innocent woman to jail decades ago. Yi-rang will try to get answers from Kang Dong-sik’s spirit. But the spirit has dementia, so his memories are mixed up.
The episode will also look into Na-hyun’s dark past. The production team hinted that Yi-rang will dig deeper into Na-hyun’s family tragedy. This is likely connected to the accident that killed her sister. The tension with Taebaek Law Firm will also get worse. Chairman Yang Byeong-il ( Choi Kwang-il ) is watching the trial closely.
