The third episode of Physical: Welcome to Mongolia brought the cast to the Hun Theatre in Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar, for an incredible show. Amotti, Kim Dong-hyun, and Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan were joined by Team Australia’s Eddie Williams as special guests of Lkhagva-Ochir Erdene-Ochir, who goes by Ochir. The episode centered on a breathtaking performance organized by Ochir and his family, moving the series from outdoor physical challenges into a celebration of Mongolian art and culture.
The four-episode travel series is a spinoff of the Netflix competition show Physical: Asia. It follows Team Mongolia as they host their former rivals, Team Korea, for a tour of their home country. The series premiered globally on Netflix on January 1, 2026, with the first two episodes. Episode 3 became available for streaming on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Episode 3 Recap: A Private Show by the Ochir Family
The main event of the episode was a special performance at the Hun Theatre, arranged by Ochir, a standout acrobat from Physical: Asia. The show featured Ochir, his wife, his four daughters, and his students performing a series of acrobatic and aerial acts.
The performance started with a solo act by Ochir, who executed handstands on a raised platform. The display of balance and strength immediately impressed the audience. Kim Dong-hyun reacted by saying, “This is amazing,” while Amotti and Eddie mentioned they were “breaking a sweat” just from watching.
Ochir’s daughtersโBorogchingoo, Sorkhogtani, Sorogchin, and the youngest, Setsengooโthen took the stage. They performed coordinated balancing acts that captivated the guests. Amotti observed that their graceful hand movements resembled a bird.
The third act featured Ochir and his wife, Altanchimeg, performing a duo aerial routine on straps. Their synchronized movements high above the stage left a strong impression on the cast. Amotti said, “I just got chills. Seriously, this is so incredible,” and later noted the performance felt romantic. He added that the emotional display almost moved him to tears.
Cast Members Join the Fun on Stage
After the professional performances concluded, the atmosphere shifted from spectator to participant. Ochir invited his guests on stage to be part of a final stunt involving his students and a vertical pole.
First, Amotti was asked to lie down on the stage floor beneath the pole. Seeing this, Kim Dong-hyun exclaimed, “I am not going to do that”. Despite his protests, he was also persuaded to lie down. As Ochir’s students performed fast-paced stunts descending the pole above them, Amotti, Eddie, and Orkhonbayar filmed Kim Dong-hyun’s nervous reactions, leading to laughter from the group.
The group then tried to get Orkhonbayar to take a turn on the stage, but he resisted. Kim Dong-hyun even attempted to climb the pole himself but found it difficult. Eventually, Orkhonbayar also played along, lying down while the students performed again. Amotti called the usually tough Orkhonbayar “cute” during the funny moment.
The episode and the performance concluded with Ochir, his entire family, and his students taking a bow. His wife asked the audience if they had a good time, to which everyone cheered. Kim Dong-hyun summed up the experience, calling it an “unforgettable experience”.
