South superstar Prabhas has decided to take a one-month short break, primarily driven by an ongoing injury. Reports suggest that Prabhas has not fully recovered from the injury, prompting considerations for surgery, possibly in Europe.
According to reliable sources, Prabhas received a positive response for his last film, “Salaar.” Now, during this break, the actor plans to rejuvenate himself and focus on his health. It is speculated that he might undergo surgery in Europe to address the lingering injury concerns.
Insiders revealed, “Prabhas will take this break to refresh himself, placing a top priority on his health. He is expected to return to work on his upcoming projects after March.”
One of Prabhas’s upcoming films is “Kalki 2898 AD,” scheduled for release on May 9th this year. The film, initially set to release on January 12th, features Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan alongside Prabhas. Besides “Kalki,” Prabhas has other projects in his pipeline, including “Spirit” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and “The Raja Sahab” by Maruti, featuring Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal in lead roles.
Notably, Prabhas played crucial roles alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in “Salaar,” which achieved a remarkable worldwide collection of 715 crores after its release in December 2023. This film became the fourth highest-grossing movie globally, following “Jawan,” “Pathan,” and “Animal.” It surpassed Shahrukh Khan’s “Danki,” which earned 470 crores in the same release period.
