“Who wouldn’t want to be pampered?” Kwak Dong Yeon, a prominent actor in the hit K-Drama “Queen of Tears,” recently revealed his envy for the most coddled co-star on set.
The cast of “Queen of Tears” has been basking in the limelight, thanks to the show’s skyrocketing viewership ratings. The ensemble, including Kim Ji Won, Kim Soo Hyun, Park Sung Hoon, and Kwak Dong Yeon, has been lauded for their stellar performances, each contributing significantly to the gripping storyline.
During a recent YouTube video on Netflix’s channel, the actors shared some intriguing behind-the-scenes gossip. When asked if they desired to portray any other character in the drama, the responses were quite fascinating.
Kim Soo Hyun expressed his interest in playing Hong Man Dae, the head of the Hong family and owner of the Queens group in the show.
Park Sung Hoon, the show’s much-loved antagonist, wished to switch roles with Kwak Dong Yeon, who plays the comical youngest son of the Hong family, Hong Soo Cheol.
However, Kwak Dong Yeon had a different aspiration. He confessed his desire to step into the shoes of a castmate he was “jealous” of, someone who enjoys the most pampering on set and receives applause for even the simplest tasks.
The co-star in question? None other than the adorable baby who plays Kwak’s on-screen son, Geon U!
The character of Geon U is brought to life by the one-year-old child actor Goo Shi Woo. With his irresistible charm, it’s clear that Goo Shi Woo is set to steal hearts on every set he graces in the future. As for Kwak Dong Yeon, it seems there’s no escaping this wave of baby love.
