Selena Gomez recently liked an Instagram post by Hailey Bieber’s skincare brand, Rhode, announcing its upcoming launch in Sephora stores. This small gesture sparked discussions as fans saw it as a sign of support between the two women, who have been linked to years of feud rumors. Gomez and Hailey have both denied any bad blood in the past, but online speculation continues.
The Instagram post featured a black-and-white photo of Hailey posing with a Rhode product. Gomez was among over 400,000 users who liked the post. Fans quickly noticed and praised her for being “classy.” One fan wrote, “Selena gomezzzzz what a classy queen u R.” Another commented, “Selena Gomez liked it!!”
On the same day, Gomez shared a cryptic Instagram Story with a motivational message. She reposted a quote saying, “You matter. Your voice matters. Your heart matters. You are worth so much more than you know.” She added, “You know who you are and I’m cheering you on.” Some fans wondered if this was a subtle nod to Hailey.
Gomez and Justin Bieber dated on and off from 2009 to 2018. Justin married Hailey in September 2018, just months after his split from Gomez. The couple welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, in August 2024. Gomez is now engaged to music producer Benny Blanco.
Hailey recently made headlines with her first solo U.S. Vogue cover. Justin celebrated her achievement but faced backlash for recalling a past argument. Hailey’s rep denied the claim, calling it “fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalize off of an old, tired narrative.” The rep stated, “This never happened.” Despite this, some fans believe the feud rumors are still alive.
Hailey has repeatedly denied any feud with Gomez. In a 2023 interview, she said, “I don’t think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez. This is not about this pitting between two women—it’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous.”

Despite the drama, Gomez and Hailey have shown moments of mutual respect. In October 2022, they posed together at the Academy Museum Gala, trying to end feud rumors. A source close to Gomez said, “They agreed and decided to clear up the rumors once and for all. They wanted to show that there’s really no hate between them.”
