Seo In Guk might be stepping into a new role in the upcoming superhero K-drama Twelve. Reports suggest that the actor is currently in discussions to join the cast, which already includes Ma Dong Seok and Ji Chang Wook.

On September 5, 2024, Korean media outlet Edaily revealed that Seo In Guk is seriously considering the role. If confirmed, he will portray a hero depicted as a monkey. The drama’s plot centers around heroes representing the twelve Chinese zodiac signs as they strive to protect the Korean peninsula from malevolent spirits.

Cast and Production Details

Twelve will feature a reunion of actors from the 2016 drama Squad 38, with Seo In Guk and Ma Dong Seok sharing the screen once again after eight years. Ma Dong Seok, known for his role in The Outlaws, is also involved in the production of the series.

Ji Chang Wook is also reportedly in talks to join the cast, and will play one of the leading heroes.

The drama is scheduled to premiere in 2025, although the platform for its release has not been announced yet.
