SEVENTEEN‘s Wen Junhui, also known as Jun, is set to appear in the Chinese action film The Shadow’s Edge alongside action movie legend Jackie Chan. The film’s first poster, featuring the main cast, was released on January 18, 2025, confirming Jun’s participation.
The Shadow’s Edge: A Battle of Wits and Courage
The Shadow’s Edge tells the story of a group of skilled thieves who challenge the Macau Judiciary Police. In response, the police call back retired tracking expert Huang De Zhong to work with young members of the Criminal Investigation Department. The film explores the clash between traditional tracking methods and modern technology as the police and criminals engage in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. The story focuses on how intelligence and bravery will determine the winner in this fight between good and evil.

The film features a prominent cast, including Jackie Chan, Zhang Zi Feng, and SEVENTEEN’s Wen Junhui. Yang Zi directs and writes the film, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2025.

SEVENTEEN, a thirteen-member K-pop group under Pledis Entertainment, debuted in 2015 with the album 17 Carat.
