Snow White and Ne Zha 2 Lead UK and Ireland Box Office Weekend

Disney’s Snow White topped the UK and Ireland box office over the past weekend, debuting with a strong £3.8 million ($5 million), according to Comscore. The fresh take on the classic fairy tale outperformed a competitive field of new releases, setting a solid pace for the upcoming Easter holiday period.

In second place, Trinity Filmed Entertainment’s animated fantasy sequel Ne Zha 2 earned $1.6 million. It is also recognized as the highest-grossing animated film globally, with worldwide earnings exceeding $2 billion.

Other notable performers included Universal’s Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, which maintained a strong presence in third place with $1 million in its sixth weekend. The film now boasts a total gross of $57.6 million, making it the top UK release of the year to date. Universal’s thriller Black Bag was close behind in fourth place, earning $953,565 over two weeks.
