A new special teaser for the upcoming SBS drama Sold Out Again Today was unveiled at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, giving fans their first look at the whirlwind dynamic between its two leads. The teaser spotlights the official casting of stars Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin, who will portray a multi-tasking farmer and a relentless home shopping host drawn together by a rare ingredient. The series is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2026.
The Story: A Farmer’s Peace Meets a Host’s Persistence
Sold Out Again Today is described as a healing romantic comedy centered on two hardworking individuals who, despite their professional success, carry personal scars. Their unexpected encounter begins a journey where they help mend each other’s wounds.
Ahn Hyo Seop plays Matthew Lee, a man with a highly unusual resume. He is a farmer, the CEO of a natural cosmetics ingredient company, and a research and development researcher, all at once. Nicknamed “Maechuri” (meaning “quail”), he leads a meticulously busy and routine-driven life in the village of Deokpung. He is also the world’s only cultivator of a miraculous, undisclosed ingredientโhinted to be rare white flower mushroomsโwhich becomes the focal point of the story.
His orderly world is upended by Dam Ye Jin, played by Chae Won Bin. She is a top-tier host for a major home shopping network, renowned for her ability to sell out any product, from electronics to fashion. Her intense dedication to her career, which involved cutting down on sleep to maximize efficiency, has led to a severe case of chronic insomnia. The newly released teaser shows her “bulldozer-like” personality in full force as she targets Matthew’s rare mushrooms, climbing fences and pursuing him with relentless determination.

Cast and Character Details
The pairing brings together two popular actors from notable recent projects. He will next be seen in the major film adaptation Omniscient Reader before beginning work on this drama.
Chae Won Bin, who won the Best New Actress award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance in the drama Doubt, takes on the role of the unstoppable Dam Ye Jin. This marks her first on-screen collaboration with Ahn Hyo Seop.
