A South Korean influencer has sparked global outrage with his controversial comments on feminism and misogyny. The man, who boasts over 30,000 followers, made these remarks during a street interview conducted by Cast U, a channel renowned for its candid public street interviews. While they previously became famous for their interviews asking people to rate themselves, they recently decided to try out a new format where they asked people to react spontaneously to keywords.
The interview quickly took a problematic turn. When presented with the keyword “feminist,” the man’s immediate response was “mental illness.” The situation further escalated when he responded with “realistic” to the keyword “misogyny.”

His comments didn’t stop there. When asked about women, he responded with “something to protect,” leading many to believe he was objectifying women. These remarks, coupled with his previous statements, have caused the video to go viral, amassing over 8 million collective views on X (formerly Twitter), both in South Korea and internationally.
