Bollywood’s beloved Shah Rukh Khan might make a special appearance in the upcoming South Indian film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, starring KGF sensation Yash. The prospect of this collaboration has sent waves of excitement through the entertainment industry.

The charismatic actor, Shah Rukh Khan, who made a triumphant return in 2023 with a blockbuster hit, is now a highly sought-after figure in the film industry. With a career spanning over 30 years, King Khan continues to capture hearts, and his popularity only seems to be growing. Stepping beyond the Bollywood vs South debate, SRK has recently collaborated with South Indian talent, delivering one of the biggest hits of the previous year.

Meanwhile, Yash, renowned for his role in KGF, is set to star in Geetu Mohandas’s gangster action thriller, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. The film is anticipated to be a significant project in the South Indian film industry, raising expectations for both the actor and the director. The latest buzz surrounds the makers’ request for Shah Rukh Khan to make a special appearance in the movie, marking a potential milestone with SRK making his presence felt in a Kannada film.

According to Pinkvilla, a source close to the development said that, the team approached Shah Rukh Khan for an extended cameo in this drugs and mafia-based thriller. Described as a “meaty” cameo, it promises to provide a substantial track for SRK’s character in the film. The team is eagerly awaiting the superstar’s decision, with an official announcement expected in the coming fortnight.

“The source, who wished to remain anonymous, said that the team was very keen on having SRK in the film, as they felt he would add a lot of value and charm to the project. They said that SRK’s character would have a significant impact on the plot and the climax of the film,” the source revealed.

However, there has been no official announcement regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming projects, apart from Tiger Vs Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this movie promises a face-off between SRK and Salman Khan, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film. Additionally, there are rumors circulating about Shah Rukh Khan collaborating with Sujoy Ghosh in an action thriller that features the superstar’s daughter, Suhana Khan.

In addition, the buzz around Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups began in December 2023 when the makers dropped the teaser, offering a glimpse into the world of this much-anticipated gangster action thriller. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 10, 2025, further adding to the excitement among fans.

As a result, the entertainment landscape is abuzz with the possibility of Shah Rukh Khan making a memorable cameo in Yash’s Toxic, adding another layer of excitement to this highly anticipated South Indian film. Stay tuned for further updates on this intriguing collaboration between two of the biggest names in Indian cinema.
