During a recent talk show appearance, Millie Bobby Brown let the world in on a little secret: she already knows exactly how the hit Netflix series Stranger Things ends. The actress, who plays Eleven, discovered the finale’s conclusion well before the official script read with her castmates.

She revealed this in a playful story during an interview, explaining she took matters into her own hands to find out the fate of Hawkins and its beloved characters. Her confession offers fans a fun glimpse behind the scenes as the show prepares for its final episodes.

So, how did Brown get this early information? The actress shared that her curiosity got the better of her. She decided to do a little detective work, much like her character in the Enola Holmes films.

“I snuck into the writers’ room,” Brown said. Inside, she found a major clue: a large whiteboard that laid out the show’s planned endings. Seeing it all at once was a lot to take in. “I was like, ‘Ahh, so much to process!’”.

She joked with the host that she sometimes uses playful tactics to get information, even quipping that she likes to “blackmail the directors” with old photos. However, this time, a simple, sneaky visit was all it took.

Brown’s early knowledge made the official final table read a unique experience for her. While the rest of the cast arrived not knowing their characters’ fates, she was already in on the secret.

The event itself was far from a standard script reading. To make it more special, Brown and her co-star Noah Schnapp prepared personalized gifts for the crew. They made 30 friendship bracelets, each decorated with charms that reflected the personality of the person receiving it.

The reading also had a different setup. Instead of sitting at tables, the cast gathered on couches. The emotional weight of ending a story they’ve been part of for nearly a decade hit everyone hard. Brown recalled that the group “cried for basically two hours straight”.

The final chapter of Stranger Things is almost here. Season five will be released in two parts on Netflix.

The finale episode is expected to be a major event, with a runtime of about two hours. Netflix plans to amplify the experience by broadcasting it on over 500 screens across North America for fans to watch together.

As the end approaches, the hope among fans and the cast is that the conclusion will be satisfying. The show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have been working toward this ending for years. Brown’s reaction to seeing the plansโ€”surprise and a need to process itโ€”hints that the finale will be significant for her character, Eleven, and the entire Hawkins crew.
