Stray Kids is set to return to the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) for the second consecutive year. They will join SEVENTEEN as the only K-pop acts performing at this year’s event, scheduled for December 12, 2024.

The 2024 BBMAs confirmed on December 10 that Stray Kids will perform at the ceremony. This marks their second BBMAs appearance following their 2023 debut, where they impressed fans with electrifying performances of S-CLASS and LALALALA.
Stray Kids’ inclusion in the performers’ lineup alongside SEVENTEEN highlights their growing prominence on the global stage. Both groups represent K-pop at the prestigious event, which will be broadcast live on multiple platforms, including FOX and Fire TV.

Stray Kids is also competing in four categories this year:
- Top Duo/Group
- Top Global K-pop Artist
- Top K-pop Album (with two nominations)
In 2023, they became the first fourth-generation K-pop boy group to win the Top K-pop Album Award, achieving another milestone with two albums competing in the same category.
A Monumental Year for Stray Kids
2024 has been a remarkable year for Stray Kids, marked by milestones such as their Met Gala appearance and the release of their ninth mini-album, ATE. The album’s title track, Chk Chk Boom, went viral, dominating charts on Billboard and iTunes.
The group is now preparing to release their SKZ HIPTAPE Project, featuring the title track Walkin’ on Water, set to drop on December 13.
