Ju Haknyeon is no longer a member of THE BOYZ after his agency, One Hundred Label, terminated his contract. The decision came after reports surfaced that he met with former Japanese adult film actress Asuka Kirara. Fans are divided, with many criticizing the agency’s decision.

The agency confirmed Haknyeon’s departure in a statement. They said they investigated the situation and found it difficult to continue trusting him as an artist. After discussions with the group members, they decided to remove him.

“As a result of our investigation, we have recognized the severity of the issue and have taken it seriously. We have realized that it has become difficult to maintain our trust in him as an artist. Due to this, after sufficient discussions with the members of THE BOYZ, we have decided that Ju Haknyeon will be withdrawing from the group and that his exclusive contract will be terminated.”

Fans quickly reacted online, with many expressing anger at the agency. Some believe Haknyeon’s private life should not affect his career. Others say the company failed to protect him.

“this makes me so mad. haknyeon has always gotten the short end of the stick. no lines, no screentime, no solo projects, no endorsements. onehundred is a fuckass company that never did anything for him. now they can’t even protect him when he needed them most.”

Reports claim Haknyeon met Asuka Kirara at a bar in Tokyo on May 29. Witnesses said they drank together and were seen hugging. Kirara, a former adult star, now works as an influencer.

Some fans defended Haknyeon, saying he should be allowed to date freely. Others blamed stalkers and the K-pop industry for invading idols’ privacy.

“Kicking an idol out of his group because he has a personal life is crazy..these companies don’t care about their artists and international fans at all they only care about korean fans and knetz opinions.”

THE BOYZ will continue as an 10-member group. The agency promised to support the remaining members.

“One Hundred Label will spare no effort in fully supporting the remaining members of THE BOYZ so that they can continue to promote in a healthy and stable state.”
