THE BOYZ members sent emotional messages to fans after Ju Haknyeon was removed from the group due to a prostitution scandal. Fans demand answers from the agency and support the remaining members.

On June 18, 2025, ONE HUNDRED, the agency of THE BOYZ, announced the sudden departure of member Ju Haknyeon. This came after reports linked him to a meeting with former Japanese adult film star Asuka Kirara. The agency stated they lost trust in him, leading to his contract termination.

Ju Haknyeon denied all allegations in a handwritten letter. He admitted to attending a private gathering but insisted no illegal activities took place. Fans are divided, with many criticizing the agency for acting too quickly without solid proof.

Following the news, the remaining THE BOYZ membersโ€”Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Sunwoo, and Ericโ€”shared messages on the fan app Bubble. They apologized for causing worry and promised to work harder for their fans, known as THE B.

“If anyone is owed an apology it is them!” โ€“ A fan reacted to the members’ messages.

“These messages sound like their company and not truly them. I know they’re mad and sad right now! I want an explanation from 100red and justice for Hak.” โ€“ Another fan expressed frustration.

Many fans believe the agency mishandled the situation. Some pointed out that Ju Haknyeon had limited opportunities in the group, with little screen time or solo projects. Others argued that his private life should not affect his career.

“Haknyeon has always gotten the short end of the stick. No lines, no screentime, no solo projects. One Hundred never did anything for him.” โ€“ A fan tweeted.

“Heโ€™s a grown man, let him enjoy his life. Blame the company, not him.” โ€“ Another supporter wrote.

Meanwhile, fans are sending encouraging messages to the remaining members.

“The messages from TBZ broke my heart. Please put yourself first, youโ€™re humans before idols.” โ€“ A fan commented.

“Send love to the boys, they need support right now.” โ€“ Another netizen urged.

THE BOYZ debuted in 2017 and gained fame with hits like “Thrill Ride” and “Maverick.” The group will now continue with 10 members.
