Ju Haknyeon is no longer a member of THE BOYZ, and his contract with One Hundred Label has been terminated. The decision came after reports revealed he had a private meeting with former Japanese adult film actress Kirara Asuka. Around the same time, producer MC Mong was also ousted from the company, sparking suspicions of a connection between the two incidents.

On June 18, 2025, One Hundred Label confirmed Haknyeon’s departure in an official statement. The agency said they suspended his activities after learning about the controversy and later decided to terminate his contract after an internal investigation. The company stated the decision was made to protect the groupโ€™s reputation.

Earlier, on June 13, the label announced that MC Mong, a co-founder and chief producer, was removed due to “personal reasons.” Netizens quickly linked the two events, especially after reports claimed Haknyeon was involved in soliciting pr*stitution services from Kirara Asuka. An insider hinted that a producer was also dismissed for similar reasons.

The scandal began when Japanese media outlet Shลซkan Bunshun reported that Haknyeon was seen with Kirara Asuka at a bar in Tokyoโ€™s Roppongi district on May 29. Witnesses said they were drinking together and showed physical closeness, including hugging. Kirara, a former AV actress, retired in 2020 and now works as an influencer.

Fans were shocked by Haknyeonโ€™s sudden exit. Some demanded his return, while others criticized his actions. His last messages to fans before the scandal broke added to the backlash. On June 16, he wrote:

“Iโ€™ve really been wanting to say this.”
“Thank you so, so much for just liking me for who I am~”

Netizens reacted strongly to the scandal, with many suspecting MC Mongโ€™s involvement. Comments included:

“Seems like he brought an idol from his company and facilitated prstitution. I see.”*
“Wow. Fcking legendary. A prstitution scandal involving a producer and a member.”
“Why does he live like that?”
“Seems like thereโ€™s a reason he got cut off. They really be doing the mostest.”

One Hundred Label assured fans that THE BOYZ will continue as an 11-member group. The agency promised full support for the remaining members. Meanwhile, Haknyeonโ€™s future in the entertainment industry remains uncertain.
