The Madison, the latest series from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, is finally here. The show, which marks a major move for Hollywood heavyweights Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell into television, premieres on Paramount+ on March 14, 2026. But unlike traditional weekly TV, this drama is dropping its episodes in a two-part batch release.

If you are planning to watch the story of the Clyburn family as they trade their Manhattan luxury for the rugged landscapes of Montana, knowing the exact release schedule is key. Here is everything you need to know about when each episode arrives, how many there are, and how you can watch them whether you are in the US, UK, Australia, or India.

What is The Madison About

Before diving into the schedule, it helps to understand what makes this show different from Sheridan’s other work. While it exists in the same universe as Yellowstone, The Madison is not a spinoff about the Dutton family. Instead, it follows a completely new family, the Clyburns.

The story centers on Stacy Clyburn (Michelle Pfeiffer), a wealthy New York City philanthropist, and her husband Preston Clyburn (Kurt Russell). After a sudden family tragedy, Stacy decides to uproot her family and move to the Madison River valley in Montana. The series is being described as Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, focusing heavily on grief, resilience, and human connection rather than the land disputes and political battles seen in Yellowstone.

The cast is stacked with familiar names, including Matthew Fox (Lost), Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Beau Garrett, and Will Arnett in a guest role.

The Madison Episode Release Schedule

Paramount+ is releasing the six-episode first season in two batches. This means you get a mini-binge drop on premiere day, followed by the conclusion the next weekend. All episodes drop at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on their respective dates.

The Cast and What to Expect

The star power of Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell is a major draw, but their real-life relationship adds an interesting layer to the on-screen dynamic. The show also marks a significant return for Matthew Fox, his first major TV role since Lost ended.

During the New York City premiere on March 9, Taylor Sheridan made a rare public appearance to praise the project.

I can’t stand these things. So, for me to be at one means I’m really proud of the project, which I am.

Kurt Russell has also spoken highly of the series, noting that it is a different kind of story for Sheridan. He suggested the show has a strong female gaze and praised Michelle Pfeiffer‘s performance.

I think it’s a very different show for Taylor in that it’s a very female-gaze-oriented show. And I think it’s extremely well written.

He also hinted that audiences should pay attention to Pfeiffer’s work.

Talking about awards โ€” I think they’re going to be looking Michelle’s way.

Is The Madison Connected to Yellowstone

This has been a point of confusion for many fans. Initially, the project was announced as a sequel to Yellowstone. However, director Christina Alexandra Voros clarified that while it shares the Montana landscape, it is a standalone story.

The common ground is the landscapeโ€ฆ There are parallels in the scope of landscape and a human being’s place in that space, but it’s coming at it from a completely different point of view.

So, do not expect to see the Duttons. This is a fresh start with new characters dealing with modern grief and family dynamics.

What About Season 2

The show has already been renewed for a second season. Production was scheduled in a unique way due to Kurt Russell‘s availability. Russell confirmed that he has already filmed scenes for the second season, which is expected to arrive in 2027. Season 2 will also consist of six episodes.
