The Story for Episode 8: A Mother Under Suspicion

The upcoming episode is titled “Eurydice”. The official description for the episode sets up the main conflict:

When a grieving mother becomes the prime suspect in her missing daughter’s murder, Colter sets out to find the true culprit and prove her innocence.

This plot follows directly from the events of Episode 7, titled “Eat the Rich”. In that story, Colter was hired to find a woman named Noelle, who was kidnapped after witnessing a murder committed by a member of a wealthy, influential family. Colter succeeded in saving Noelle and reuniting her with her father.

The new case in “Eurydice” presents a different kind of challenge. Instead of searching for a living person, Colter is now investigating a murder. His client is a mother who is not only dealing with the loss of her daughter but is also being blamed for the crime. Colter will use his unique skills to uncover what really happened and clear the mother’s name.

What’s Happening in Tracker Season 3

Season 3 of Tracker premiered on October 19, 2025, with a major two-part story. The season is exploring the fallout from the shocking Season 2 finale, where Colter learned difficult truths about his father’s death and his family’s history. Showrunner Elwood Reid explained that discovering his mother’s involvement in his father’s fate is “going to be devastating” for Colter.

While he deals with this personal trauma, Colter continues to take on new cases each week. Actor Justin Hartley has hinted that this season will put Colter in new types of dangerous situations, including one where he is “being chased” instead of doing the chasing.

This is the show’s largest season yet, with a total order of 22 episodes. After Episode 8, the season is expected to take a break for the winter holidays. New episodes are scheduled to resume airing in early 2026.
