Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has shared hopeful updates about renewing their contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC, reassuring fans about their future as a group. During a recent comeback showcase, the members expressed strong unity and hinted at positive developments ahead of their 7th anniversary in March 2026.

TXT Addresses Contract Renewal Discussions

At their July 21 showcase for their fourth full-length album, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER, TXT opened up about ongoing contract renewal talks. Leader Soobin confirmed that discussions are actively happening, emphasizing the groupโ€™s shared desire to stay together.

“We are discussing the contract renewal, and all five of us share the same opinion. We are happiest when weโ€™re together and want to continue singing and performing for a long time. While talks are still in progress, I believe we can share positive news soon.”

Member Huening Kai also reassured fans, saying:

“I know MOAs might be worried, but I hope they donโ€™t stress too much. The five of us still love music and will keep showing our colors. You donโ€™t have to worry.”

Their comments come as TXT approaches their 7th debut anniversary in March 2026, a critical period in K-pop often referred to as the “7-year curse” due to many groups facing lineup changes or disbandment around this time.

New Album and Tour Plans Amid Renewal Talks

The groupโ€™s latest album, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER, marks their return after 1 year and 9 months. It features eight tracks, including the title song Beautiful Strangers, a hip-hop track with trap influences. The album concludes their Star Chapter series, which has followed a narrative exploring themes of growth and unity.

TXT also announced their upcoming world tour, ACT: TOMORROW, starting with concerts in Seoul on August 22-23, coinciding with MOAโ€™s (their fandom) 6th anniversary. The tour will be livestreamed globally via Weverse.

Fans React to Renewal Hints

MOAs worldwide expressed relief and excitement after the membersโ€™ statements. Many took to social media, sharing hopeful messages about the groupโ€™s future.

“They clearly love being together, and thatโ€™s all we needed to hear.”
“Soobin and Huening Kaiโ€™s words feel like a soft confirmation. Iโ€™m so happy!”

HYBEโ€™s Current Landscape and TXTโ€™s Position

The renewal talks happen alongside major shifts at HYBE, including:

  • BTS preparing for a full group comeback in 2026 after military service.
  • A new boy group debuting under BIGHIT MUSIC in August 2025.

TXT has been a key act for HYBE since their 2019 debut, achieving milestones like headlining Lollapalooza and charting consistently on the Billboard 200. Their potential renewal solidifies their role in the companyโ€™s future.

While no official announcement has been made, the membersโ€™ optimistic remarks suggest a high chance of renewal. Their current focus remains on promoting The Star Chapter: TOGETHER and preparing for their world tour.
