BTS’ V’s Surprise Appearance on Suchwita

BTS member SUGA has had numerous guests on his YouTube talk show Suchwita, but one unexpected guest left a lasting impression. Back in November 2023, V made an unplanned appearance while Jungkook was the scheduled guest for that particular episode.

V Joins Jungkook and SUGA During Filming

Jungkook, who appeared on the show to promote his solo album GOLDEN, was having a meaningful conversation with SUGA about the rapper’s D-DAY tour. Suddenly, V was seen walking behind the camera. Jungkook, noticing his bandmate, jokingly asked, “We are in the middle of the shoot. Can you please leave?”

Despite the playful request, V casually walked in and sat down next to Jungkook, making himself comfortable. SUGA, curious about how V knew they were filming, asked, “How did you know we were filming?” V explained he found out through their group chat.

V Makes Himself at Home

V didn’t waste any time and immediately started enjoying the food on set, even asking for Ssamjang (a spicy paste). His relaxed demeanor prompted SUGA to comment, “He came in like someone who was waiting to eat.”

V playfully responded that he overheard them talking about music and decided to drop by. “I thought I would just come for a second, but you gave me attention,” he joked. The atmosphere lightened as Jungkook laughed and said, “Let’s bring up the view count,” while SUGA added, “Let’s go, 20 million!”

What Are They Doing Now?

Currently, all three BTS members—V, Jungkook, and SUGA—are fulfilling their mandatory military service and are set to return by June 2025.

• V: He made his solo comeback in March 2024 with a digital single titled FRI(END)S. He also released a photobook named TYPE 1 and launched an exhibition to accompany it.
• Jungkook: Released a new solo track Never Let Go on June 7, 2024, as part of BTS FESTA 2024. He also organized a solo exhibition in August 2024, celebrating his debut album GOLDEN.
• SUGA: After facing a brief controversy regarding a DUI, the situation has been resolved, and he continues focusing on his projects.
