The reboot of Wizards of Waverly Place will debut on the Disney Channel on October 29, 2024. The first two episodes will air on Disney Channel, while the remaining eight episodes will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting October 30, 2024.

Plot and Characters

In the reboot, Justin Russo, portrayed by David Henrie, is living a quiet life as a mortal. He is now set to train a young wizard named Billie, played by Janice LeAnn Brown, who is brought into his life by Alex Russo. To help Billie with his magical problems, Justin will need to reconnect with his wizarding roots and relive his teenage years.

The cast includes:

  • David Henrie returning as Justin Russo.
  • Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo, Justin’s wife.
  • Alkaio Thiele and Max Matenko as Justin’s sons, Roman and Milo.
  • Selena Gomez making a cameo appearance as Alex Russo.
  • David DeLuise reprising his role as Jerry Russo in a few episodes.

The series will be directed by Raven Symone, known for her role in That’s So Raven, and Danielle Fishel, who directed Boy Meets World.
