Hulu has a packed lineup for May 2026. The streaming service just added several returning favorites and fresh new series. From the steamy British drama Rivals to the crime comedy Deli Boys, there is something for everyone this month. The platform also dropped the full series of Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair and continues releasing episodes of The Testaments.
‘Rivals’ Season 2 Arrives With a Split Release Schedule
The hit British drama Rivals returned for its second season on May 15, 2026. The show, which stars David Tennant, Alex Hassell, and Aidan Turner, continues the story of backstabbing British television executives in the 1980s.
Season 2 has an unusual release pattern. The first six episodes are rolling out weekly. The first three episodes dropped on May 15. Episode 4 came out on May 22. Episode 5 premiered on May 29, 2026. Episode 6 will arrive on June 5. The remaining six episodes do not have a release date yet. Hulu plans to stream them later in 2026.
David Tennant plays Lord Tony Baddingham, a ruthless TV executive who will do anything to win a corporate war. The new season moves the story into 1987. Fans can expect more romantic drama and plenty of scandal. The show is based on Jilly Cooper’s 1988 novel of the same name.
‘Deli Boys’ Season 2 Brings More Crime and Comedy
Deli Boys season two dropped all episodes on May 28, 2026. The crime comedy series follows brothers Mir (Asif Ali) and Raj Dar (Saagar Shaikh). They inherited their father’s deli business, only to discover it was a front for a drug smuggling operation.
The second season brings in big-name guest stars. Andrew Rannells joins as Andrew Chadwater, a district attorney who wants to become mayor. Kumail Nanjiani plays Danyal, a defense attorney hired by Fred Armisen’s character Max Sugar. Lilly Singh and Robin Thede also appear as guest stars. Tan France returns as the fan-favorite British crime mobster Zubair.
The new season finds the Dar brothers drowning in dirty cash. Philly’s criminals are circling them. Max Sugar, a casino king and money launderer, becomes Lucky’s new crush and turns money laundering into a messy relationship.
‘The Testaments’ Continues the ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Story
The Testaments started streaming on April 8, 2026. New episodes continue to drop throughout May. The show is a direct sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale and is based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name.
Chase Infiniti stars as Agnes MacKenzie, the daughter of June Osborne. Agnes does not know her true parentage. She has been raised in Gilead and trained to become a Handmaid. Lucy Halliday plays Daisy, a new arrival who may hold the key to helping Agnes escape.
Ann Dowd returns as Aunt Lydia. The story takes place at an elite preparatory school for future wives, where obedience is forced brutally. The series has nine episodes in its first season.
‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ Brings Back the Family
The four-part limited series Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair premiered on April 10, 2026. The show brings back the original cast almost 20 years after the original series ended.
Frankie Muniz returns as Malcolm. Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek reprise their roles as Hal and Lois. Christopher Kennedy Masterson (Francis), Justin Berfield (Reese), and Craig Lamar Traylor (Stevie) also return. New cast members include Keeley Karsten as Malcolm’s daughter Leah and Kiana Madeira as Malcolm’s girlfriend Tristan.
The story picks up with Malcolm avoiding his family for over a decade. He gets dragged back when he attends Hal and Lois’ 40th anniversary party with his daughter. All four episodes are streaming now on Hulu.

Not Suitable for Work premieres on June 2, 2026. The comedy comes from Mindy Kaling, creator of The Office. The show follows work-obsessed Gen Zs in New York who realize their careers leave no time for a life.
Kneecap also arrives on June 2. The film tells the story of an Irish-language hip-hop group. The band members play themselves in this fictionalized retelling.
Doctor on the Edge starts streaming on June 1. The Korean drama stars Lee Jae-wook as a plastic surgeon who avoids military service by becoming a public health doctor on a remote island.
