Episode 1, “A Novice Seeker in Labyrinth Country,” introduced the main character Arihito Atobe. After dying in a bus accident, he is reborn in the Labyrinth Country as a Seeker. He chooses the rare Rearguard class, a support role that helps with attack, defense, and healing.
Episode 2, “The First Hurdle,” showed Arihito finding his former boss Kyouka under attack by a powerful Named monster. He must find a way to save her. The episode established the party dynamics and showed how Arihito’s unusual class works in combat.
