His spirit remains clouded until one day, he witnesses a dance that he feels to be “good”. Everything begins to change from that moment.
This is the story of the beautiful young boy who would one day shape the art of Noh and be remembered as Zeami——one of the most important figures in the history of Japanese theater. In this episode, Oniyasha found himself in a dance competition against Masujiro from the Dengaku New Seat troupe. The chosen performance was the lion dance. Oniyasha thought he needed to perform a lion dance that no one had ever seen before. He took inspiration from the movements of real cats and presented his own innovative lion dance on stage.
The episode also showed the arrival of the Dengaku New Seat at the Sanjo-mon Gate palace. They displayed open hostility toward Oniyasha. But Oniyasha did not let this bother him.
