Hotel Inhumans Episode 13 Recap and Season 1 Ending Explained
Episode 13, titled “Another Sky 4,” closed out the “Another Sky” arc, which ran from Episodes 10 through 13. This arc centered on the sniper duo Danica (voiced by Yume Miyamoto) and Chetana (voiced by Maki Kawase), whose partnership began when Danica was betrayed by a former team.
The story escalated when Chetana was captured during a negotiation, and a contract killing order along with one of her earrings arrived at the hotel instead of Chetana herself. Danica, realizing her partner was in danger, broke a promise she had made and picked up a gun again to protect Chetana.
In Episode 12, Ikuro Hoshi infiltrated the enemy base using blueprints provided by Chief Librarian Shao to free Chetana. Learning that Danica had been forced to carry out a sniper mission targeting a prince, Chetana rushed with Ikuro to the sniping location. As night fell and the ferry carrying the prince approached the target zone, Danica and a young child soldier named Palan were pressured to prepare for the hit. Sara Haizaki watched from a distance, waiting for the right moment to launch a rescue.
The Season 1 finale saw Ikuro and Sara successfully rescue Danica and Chetana. However, killing the man behind the plot led to international warrants being issued for the sniper pair’s arrest, forcing Danica and Chetana to leave Japan. In the closing scenes, Ikuro got caught in rain while wishing for the pair to find clear skies wherever they went.
Fan reactions to the finale were intense. On MyAnimeList, viewers praised the emotional depth of the arc. One wrote: “The emotional connection between Danica and Chetana is very real though. Chetana also showed more emotions than ever before.” Another fan said: “Killed the evil minister, girls survive, kid survives and they get to have that toast.” A third commenter noted: “So many twists and turns, I knew Sarah and Chetana would get there in time, but I thought the mob dude might kill the kid or danica.”
