What The Teaser Trailer Shows

The teaser trailer gives a first look at the anime’s visual style. It introduces Gakuro and Nue, along with brief glimpses of the spirits that haunt the school. The trailer features the voices of the three main cast members and sets a dark, moody tone that matches the manga.

The teaser visual was drawn by Shunpei Mochizuki. It shows Gakuro and Nue in a striking composition that hints at the supernatural battles to come.

What Nue’s Exorcist Is About

The story follows Gakuro Yajima, a high school student who has been able to see spirits since childhood. These spirits are drawn to human sadness and anger, and Gakuro has spent most of his life trying to avoid them.

Nue asks Gakuro to help her defeat the dangerous spirits that roam the school. Gakuro is hesitant at first, but the spirits are not going to wait for him to make up his mind.

VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and describes it as an adventure that mixes supernatural battles with comedy and an unlikely central duo. The series also placed seventh in the print category of the 2024 Next Manga Awards.
