Ha Sung Woon‘s agency has responded to allegations that the singer copied Baek Ye Rin‘s track “0310” for the OST of the drama Love Next Door. These accusations surfaced following a social media post by Baek Ye Rin, where she pointed out similarities between her song and the OST titled “What Are We.”
In response to the controversy, BPM Entertainment, Ha Sung Woonโs agency, issued a statement through various Korean media channels. The agency clarified that Ha Sung Woon did not compose or participate in the creation of the song in question. He was only involved as the vocalist at the request of the drama’s production team.
The agency stated,
“Ha Sung Woon participated as a singer on the request of the drama production company. However, he wasnโt part of the writing, composing, or arranging process for ‘What Are We’ OST.” Despite the clarification, BPM apologized to fans for the confusion caused by the plagiarism claims and expressed hope that the issue between Baek Ye Rin and the OST production company would be resolved peacefully.
