A wave of K-pop acts has made a major impact on the latest Billboard World Albums chart. Stray Kids lead the charge, with their album “Karma” returning to number one for a remarkable tenth non-consecutive week. They are joined in the top ranks by soloist Jimin of BTS and fellow groups ATEEZ, xikers, and BOYNEXTDOOR, all claiming high positions in a powerful collective showing.
Stray Kids Command the Chart
Stray Kids have solidified their chart dominance as “Karma” secures its tenth week at number one. This achievement makes it the first album released in 2025 and the first from JYP Entertainment to reach a 10-week reign at the top of the World Albums chart this year.
The group’s presence on the chart is extensive. Beyond “Karma,” three other Stray Kids albums are charting. “Hop” climbed back up to number nine, “Ate” holds strong at number thirteen, and “5-Star” is also present on the chart. This collective performance means multiple Stray Kids albums are charting simultaneously, demonstrating their consistent popularity.
New Debuts and Strong Returns
This week’s chart is also defined by several high-profile debuts and returns. ATEEZ’s new Japanese album, “Ashes to Light,” entered the chart at number three. Similarly, xikers’ latest mini album, “House of Tricky : Wrecking The House,” made a strong first appearance at number four.
BTS’s Jimin continues to see lasting success with his solo work. His album “Muse” rose to number two in its 68th week on the chart, showing enduring fan support. BTS as a group also maintains a presence, with their 2022 anthology album “Proof” staying on the chart for an impressive 178th week.
A Crowded Field of Hitmakers
The chart’s upper ranks feature a diverse mix of established and newer acts. BOYNEXTDOOR’s latest mini album “The Action” secured the number five spot in its second week on the chart. This achievement is part of a successful streak for the group, as “The Action” also recently debuted on the main Billboard 200 chart, marking their fifth consecutive album to do so.
CORTIS’s debut EP “Color Outside The Lines” ranked at number six in its ninth week. ENHYPEN also made a notable showing with two albums on the chart: “Desire : Unleash” at number seven and “Romance : Untold” at number eighteen.
Other K-pop stars rounding out the chart include TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ILLIT, NewJeans, and SEVENTEEN, creating a highly competitive and international list of hitmakers.
