CBS aired Tracker Season 3 Episode 13 on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The episode, titled “Breakaway,” sent Colter Shaw to Detroit to investigate the disappearance of a veteran stuntman named Baxter. What started as a missing person case quickly turned into something much bigger, pulling Colter into a dangerous underground world of criminal stuntmen and a planned heist.
The episode brought together a notable mix of guest stars. Fans of Smallville saw a reunion of sorts, while professional wrestling followers got to see a legendary WWE and AEW star play the villain.
The Main Cast Returns for Episode 13
The regular cast members were back for this episode, each playing their part in helping Colter solve the case.
Justin Hartley returned as Colter Shaw, the lone-wolf rewardist who uses his tracking skills to find missing people. In this episode, Colter was hired by a woman named Laura to find her stuntman boyfriend. His investigation took him from a low-budget film set to an underground car racing track and finally to an armored car heist.
Chris Lee played Randy, Bobby’s cousin who has become a key part of Colter’s support team. Randy’s tech skills and research helped Colter track down the missing stuntman. He also had a personal interest in this case because he was a fan of the missing stuntman’s work.
Fiona Rene played Reenie Greene, who had a smaller role in this episode. Reenie was shown meeting with her lawyer friend Maxine for dinner. Their conversation touched on personal struggles, with Reenie dealing with past trauma from a former relationship.
Guest Stars Bring Star Power to ‘Breakaway’
The guest cast for Episode 13 included several well-known faces from other hit TV shows and the wrestling world.
David Ramsey played Hale ‘Rip’ Ripley, the missing stuntman. Ramsey is best known for playing John Diggle in the Arrowverse shows like Arrow, The Flash, and Superman & Lois. In this episode, his character got into trouble trying to protect his son from a criminal crew. Ramsey’s character had a history of pain pill addiction but had been clean for some time.
Erica Durance played Laura, the girlfriend of the missing stuntman. Durance is widely recognized for playing Lois Lane on Smallville. Interestingly, Justin Hartley also starred on Smallville as Oliver Queen, making this episode a reunion for the two actors. Laura was also a stunt performer, which is how she met Baxter.
Chris Jericho played Virgil Dean, the main villain of the episode. Jericho is a legendary professional wrestler who has held championships in WWE and AEW. He is also the lead singer of the band Fozzy, a podcast host, and an author. Ahead of the episode, Jericho shared his excitement on social media, calling himself the “lead bad guy” in the show. His character was a stuntman-turned-criminal who ran a crew that robbed armored cars.

What Happened in ‘Breakaway’
The episode’s story centered on Colter Shaw searching for Baxter, a stuntman who disappeared after a dangerous stunt on a movie set. Baxter’s girlfriend Laura hired Colter because she suspected the film production was hiding something.
Colter’s investigation revealed that Baxter had been trying to pay off his son Dalton’s debts. Dalton owed money to a criminal group led by Virgil Dean, played by Chris Jericho. When Baxter tried to pay off the debt, Virgil instead forced Baxter to take his son’s place as the getaway driver for an armored car robbery.
The episode ended with a shootout at the robbery scene. Colter, Laura, and Dalton worked together to stop Virgil’s crew. Colter took down Virgil with a shot, freeing Baxter and his son from the criminal operation.
