Cal admitted to Edna that Liam’s presence at the Crossing was bothering him. He mentioned seeing that Liam still had the wedding photo. Edna told Cal to focus on getting Maggie’s divorce filed so they could move forward.
Maggie also opened up to Edna about how Liam’s return was affecting her and her relationship with Cal. Right as she talked about it, the necklace Cal gave her broke. Edna tried to reassure her that everything would work out.
Edna also sent Frank to talk with Liam. Frank wanted to understand why Liam was really at the Crossing. He told Liam that Maggie is in a good place now and he does not want anyone to change that. Liam promised he did not want to hurt Maggie again.

The episode also checked in with other characters. Cal confronted Ben about taking Quincy‘s watch. Ben admitted what he did, and Cal accepted his honesty. Ben got to keep his job.
Maggie also asked Liam about the keloid scars she saw on his back. Liam did not answer her question. This adds another layer of mystery about what happened between them.
Sully was not in this episode much. His absence continues to affect how Maggie runs things at the Crossing. She has been feeling overwhelmed trying to manage everything without him.
