Apple TV+ is bringing a packed schedule of new content this May 2026. The streaming service will add several original series, a major movie from John Travolta, live Formula 1 racing, and the spin-off of For All Mankind called Star City. Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Kicks Off Live Sports on May 3
Live racing returns to Apple TV+ this weekend with the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. This is the first U.S.-based race of the 2026 F1 season. The event takes place on Sunday, May 3, at the Miami International Autodrome starting at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT.
Apple TV signed a five-year deal to broadcast Formula 1 in the U.S. starting this season. Subscribers get full access to the Miami race plus bonus F1 programming. An F1 TV Premium subscription is now included with Apple TV+ at no extra cost.
For viewers in the UK, Canada, and Australia, the race is available through local F1 broadcast partners, but U.S. viewers must use Apple TV+ to watch live. New subscribers can use the seven-day free trial to catch the race.
Unconditional Brings a Moscow Thriller on May 8
The Israeli thriller series Unconditional arrives on May 8. The eight-episode show follows Orna (played by Liraz Chamami), a mother whose vacation turns into a nightmare. Her daughter Gali (Talia Lynne Ronn) gets arrested in Moscow for alleged drug smuggling.
Orna refuses to believe the charges and enters a dangerous world of crime and corruption to free her daughter. The series comes from co-creators Adam Bizanski (Magpie) and Dana Idisis (On the Spectrum), with Keshet International producing.

The series shows the story from behind the Iron Curtain. It follows cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers in the Soviet space program and the risks they took. The cast includes Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O’Casey, and Alice Englert.

Propeller One-Way Night Coach Marks John Travolta’s Directorial Debut on May 29
Propeller One-Way Night Coach also premieres on May 29. This marks John Travolta’s first time directing a movie. The film is based on a children’s book Travolta wrote in 1997.
The story follows young aviation fan Jeff (Clark Shotwell) and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) on a cross-country trip to Hollywood during the golden age of aviation. Ella Bleu Travolta (John Travolta’s daughter) plays a flight attendant in the film.
