Netflix’s drama series Beauty in Black dropped its second batch of episodes for Season 2 on March 19, 2026, and the body count has fans talking. The series, created by Tyler Perry, follows Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) as she rises from a struggling sex worker to the head of a beauty empire while dealing with a dangerous family involved in trafficking.

The new episodes deliver on the explosive cliffhangers from Part 1, answering the big questions about who made it out alive. Several key characters meet their end, while others survive against all odds.

Charles Bellarie Survives the Explosion That Shook Part 1

When Season 2 Part 1 ended, viewers saw a yellow Lamborghini—believed to belong to Charles Bellarie—riddled with bullets and engulfed in flames. The shocking scene left many assuming Charles died in the attack.

But Part 2 reveals that Charles is very much alive. The show explains that Charles’ car was stolen before the explosion. The person driving the vehicle at the time of the attack was actually a stripper from the club where Charles is a regular. That man died in the fire, while Charles had been drugged and left elsewhere.

Charles resurfaces later in Part 2 when Varney visits the Bellarie home to gather items for what everyone thought would be a funeral. His return adds more tension to the family drama as the Bellarie siblings continue fighting over control of the business.

Body Meets Her End After Kimmie’s Revenge Attack

One of the most anticipated questions heading into Part 2 was whether Body, the woman who kidnapped Kimmie’s sister Sylvie, would survive. The answer is no.

Part 1 ended with Kimmie ramming her car into Body after discovering Sylvie was taken. Part 2 picks up immediately after that moment, and it becomes clear that Body did not survive the hit.

Kimmie’s attack marks a turning point for her character. It is her first act of lethal violence, and it fuels her vengeful mission against everyone involved in Sylvie’s kidnapping. The death of Body removes one major threat, but Kimmie quickly sets her sights on Delinda and others who played a part in the trafficking ring.

“The switch in Kimmie’s brain has completely flipped,” Taylor Polidore Williams told TVLine. “As soon as she saw [Sylvie] being brought into this crazy world, that’s when it kicks in for her to finally fight. Watching Part 1, I was like, ‘Oh my God, fight back. Please fight back!’”

Delinda Dies at Kimmie’s Hands

Kimmie does not stop with Body. After learning that Delinda knows where Sylvie is being held, Kimmie takes a shotgun and breaks into Delinda’s apartment. When Delinda refuses to talk, Kimmie shoots her dead with a single shot.

This marks Kimmie’s first intentional kill, and it shows just how far she is willing to go to protect her sister. The scene was intense for the cast as well. Williams described the filming day as memorable, with the crew gathered around monitors waiting to see the special effects team blow up a fake head.

Glen, Jules’ Son, Dies After Being Pulled Off Life Support

A major storyline in Part 2 involves Glen, the son of Jules (Charles Malik Whitfield). In Part 1, Rain pushed Glen off a balcony at the Bellarie estate after finding him with Sylvie and misunderstanding their relationship.

Glen ends up in the hospital with severe injuries, and by the time Part 2 begins, doctors inform Jules that Glen has no brain activity. Jules makes the painful decision to take his son off life support. Glen’s death becomes a driving force for Jules, who becomes obsessed with finding out who is responsible.

Jules’ son was from his first marriage, and he carried guilt about not being present in Glen’s life. The loss pushes him to act recklessly, leading to Sylvie’s kidnapping as he tries to get answers about what happened.

Jules Kidnaps Sylvie but Lets Her Go

One of the most tense storylines in Part 2 involves Sylvie, Kimmie’s younger sister. Feeling guilty about what happened to Glen, Sylvie sneaks out to visit him at the hospital. That is where Jules finds her.

Jules abducts Sylvie, hoping to force the truth out of her about his son’s accident. But as the situation develops, Jules realizes he cannot afford to go against Horace and the power structure of the Bellarie family. He eventually lets Sylvie go on one condition: she must never tell anyone about the kidnapping.

Sylvie returns home safely, but the experience adds another layer of trauma to her already difficult life.

Roy Meets a Violent End at Kimmie’s Hands

Roy (Julian Horton), Mallory’s husband and one of Horace’s sons, does not survive Part 2. His death comes during a fight with Kimmie, where she hits him over the head with a champagne bottle before pushing him out of a hotel window.

The confrontation happens as Kimmie continues to dismantle the Bellarie family’s corrupt operations. Roy’s drug addiction and involvement in illegal activities make him a target, and Kimmie does not hesitate to remove him as a threat.

Williams shared her excitement about filming the scene, noting her love for stories where women fight back against abusive men. “I love when women get to kick men’s butts,” she told TVLine.

Horace Survives and Continues to Back Kimmie

Horace (Ricco Ross), the Bellarie patriarch, remains alive throughout Part 2. His health continues to be a concern, but he recovers enough to continue supporting Kimmie’s rise within the family business.

Horace’s experimental treatment in Italy shows positive results, and he returns with enough strength to help Kimmie freeze the shares of corrupt family members. His marriage to Kimmie remains the foundation of her power, and he makes it clear that he wants to see his greedy relatives stripped of their influence.

At the end of Part 2, Horace is alive and working alongside Kimmie to clean house. He helps her remove Roy, Charles, Norman, and Olivia from positions of power during a dramatic shareholder meeting.

Other Bellarie Family Members Lose Their Power but Not Their Lives

While several characters die in Part 2, others face different fates. Charles Bellarie survives the explosion, but his downfall comes from his own actions. His mother blackmails him, and secrets about dead bodies found at his house lead to a criminal investigation. His shares in the company are frozen until the case is resolved.

Norman and Olivia are exposed for their roles in money laundering and trafficking. They do not die, but they lose their standing in the family business. Mallory (Crystle Stewart) manages to escape legal trouble by helping Kimmie turn evidence against the others.

“Mallory’s going to dig in harder than ever to protect her power, because she’s not the type to hand over the throne,” Crystle Stewart told Tudum before Part 2’s release. “Let’s just say the power shifts are bigger, the betrayals cut deeper, and Mallory has a few tricks no one sees coming.”

What the Deaths Mean for the Story

The deaths in Part 2 clear the way for a major power shift. By the end of the season, Kimmie has eliminated several threats and gained control over the Bellarie empire. She also forms an alliance with Mallory, turning a former enemy into an ally.

Netflix has already renewed Beauty in Black for a third and final season. The show will conclude with its next batch of episodes, bringing Kimmie’s journey to an end.

The final season promises to wrap up the remaining storylines, including the fate of Jules, who remains a threat despite letting Sylvie go, and the ongoing investigation into the trafficking ring that ran underneath the beauty business.

All 8 episodes of Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2 are now streaming on Netflix.
