Dan Levy, the creator of Schitt’s Creek, returned to television on April 9, 2026 with his new Netflix crime comedy Big Mistakes. The eight-episode series follows two siblings who mess up a simple plan and get pulled into organized crime. But the show is getting almost as much attention for its music as for its chaotic story.

The Original Score by Peaches and Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum
Beyond the licensed songs, Big Mistakes has an original score composed by Peaches (real name Merrill Nisker) and Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum. This marks Peaches’ first time writing music for a television series.
Levy explained that he made a mood board to show Peaches the feeling he wanted for the show. She understood the mix of thriller and comedy right away and signed on. Kroll-Rosenbaum, who has worked on Marvel’s What If…? and Marvel Zombies, helped bring the electronic and orchestral sounds together.
