BLACKPINK has secured the top spot in the December 2024 Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings, maintaining their dominant position with significant growth in their scores. Close contenders aespa and IVE remain steadfast in second and third places, respectively.
The rankings, compiled by the Korean Business Research Institute, are based on a detailed analysis of media coverage, consumer engagement, community interaction, and brand activity. Data was collected and evaluated from November 8 to December 8.
BLACKPINK Leads With Outstanding Scores
BLACKPINK achieved a remarkable brand reputation index of 13,429,72, showing a 6.21% increase from November. Their analysis highlighted high-ranking keywords like Rosé, Rosie, and APT, with related terms such as surpassed, beautiful, and release. The group also received an impressive 95.60% positivity score in the positivity-negativity analysis, reinforcing their global influence and popularity.
aespa and IVE Maintain Strong Performances
aespa held onto second place with a brand reputation index of 4,575,070, showcasing their strong fanbase and consistent activity.
IVE, in third place, saw a 9.27% increase in their score, reaching a brand reputation index of 3,899,143. Their performance reflects the growing support and interest they’ve garnered.
Other Notable Rankings
- LE SSERAFIM secured fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,253,408.
- TWICE rounded out the top five, climbing with a 20.91% increase to achieve a brand reputation index of 3,003,669.
- Groups such as Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE, and OH MY GIRL also placed prominently in the top 10.
