BLACKPINK’s Jennieis gearing up for her next solo release, a single titled Mantra, and has shared a stunning teaser image to build anticipation. Fans are eagerly looking forward to her new song.
On October 7, 2024, Jennie revealed a striking concept image for Mantra, confirming that the single will officially release on October 11 at 9 AM KST(5:30 AM IST). The music video will drop simultaneously and be available on all major platforms.
Moreover, in the image, the K-pop idol can be seen wearing a white onesie outfit and staring intensely at the camera. Jennie has also confirmed that she will be promoting the song on South Korean music shows as well.
On October 8, BLACKPINK’s Jennie dropped the D-3 poster for her upcoming new single Mantra. The idol posed in front of a luxury car and sported a new hairstyle along with a lilac cardigan. In the poster, Jennie slightly bends forward to fix her heels. The new posters unveiled raise anticipation for the upcoming single. Mantra will mark Jennie’s first comeback in around a year.
The new release is especially significant as it marks her first solo project since leaving YG Entertainment and launching her own company, Odd Atelier, earlier this year. However, she remains a member of BLACKPINK and continues to collaborate with her former agency for group activities.
Debuting in 2016 alongside Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé, Jennie has become a global sensation. She was the first BLACKPINK member to debut solo, with her hit track SOLO. More recently, she released You & Me in 2023 and featured on the song One of the Girls, which earned her a spot on the Billboard 100 chart.
