The documentary was revealed at Sony Music Vision’s content showcase event in Los Angeles on May 29, 2025. Director Sue Kim, known for her work on The Last of the Sea Women and The Speed Cubers, is leading the project.

Lisa shared her excitement about the film, saying it captures special moments from her solo journey. The documentary will feature behind-the-scenes footage from her debut album Alter Ego, her Coachella performance, and her role in The White Lotus.

  • Her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3
  • Personal moments with family and friends in Thailand

Director Sue Kim said the documentary will show Lisa’s life offstage.

“I wanted to make sure Lisa knew that so many fans want to see who she is off stage,” Kim explained. “There were so many surprising moments while working with her. Audiences will get a glimpse into unexpected stories and a world of Lisa that hasn’t been seen before.”

Lisa added:

“I feel truly lucky to be able to capture these special moments on film and share them with my fans.”

Who Is Involved in the Documentary?

The film is produced by:

  • Tremolo Productions (Morgan Neville, Caitrin Rogers)
  • Salt Water Productions (Sue Kim, Courtney Crockett)
  • LLOUD CO. (Lisa’s own company)

Sony Music Vision and RCA Records are handling distribution. No release date has been announced yet, but clips were shown at the event, including scenes from Coachella and Thailand.

Lisa’s Busy 2025

Besides the documentary, Lisa is preparing for BLACKPINK’s 2025 World Tour – Memories, starting in July. She also released her solo album Alter Ego earlier this year, which topped charts.
