Huma Abedin, the former top aide of Hillary Clinton, and Alex Soros, the son of billionaire philanthropist George Soros, have revealed that they are dating each other. The couple shared a romantic photo on Valentine’s Day, sparking curiosity and speculation about their relationship.

According to sources close to the couple, Abedin and Soros met through their mutual involvement in the Democratic Party and the Open Society Foundations, the global network of organizations funded by George Soros. The two have been friends for years, but their romance blossomed recently.

Abedin, 47, was the vice chair of Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and has been her loyal confidante for over two decades. Soros, 38, is the deputy chair of the Open Society Foundations and the heir to his father’s fortune and influence.
Their Valentine’s Day Post
The couple made their relationship public on February 14, 2024, by posting a cozy photo on Instagram. The photo showed them cuddling in a booth at a restaurant in Paris, with red rose petals scattered on the table. Two jewelry boxes and a Happy Valentine’s Day sticker were also visible in the image.
Soros was the first to share the photo on his account, with the caption “Happy Valentine’s Day, Huma!” Abedin later re-shared the photo on her own account, with a heart emoji.
