The ad, which aired during the Super Bowl LVIII, features the actors reprising their roles as the on-again, off-again couple, who seem to have forgotten each other after 10 years.
The ad begins with a studio employee delivering a package to Jennifer, who is surprised by the variety of food options available on the online delivery platform. She says, “Well, you know what they say, in order to remember something, you got to forget something else. Make a little room.”
The scene then shifts to David, who enters the room and tries to hug Jennifer, who asks him, “Have we met? Give me a hint.” David replies, “Well, we worked together for ten years.” Jennifer pretends to remember him and says, “Ten years? You were great.” David, who senses her lie, says, “You still don’t know, do you?” Jennifer admits that she doesn’t and walks away, saying, “Like I’d forget ten years of my life.” David, frustrated, says, “I hate this town.”
The ad has gone viral on social media, with fans of ‘Friends’ loving the reunion of Jennifer and David, who share a great chemistry and comic timing. Many commented that they wished the ad was longer and that they wanted to see more of Rachel and Ross.
