BLACKPINK’s Jisoo recently shared her thoughts on handling breakups in a new video promoting her upcoming K-drama, Newtopia, alongside Park Jung Min. The video, released on January 21, 2025, on Coupang Play’s official Instagram page, features the actors playing a game where they answer questions with two options.
Jisoo’s Breakup Style
The video began with survival-themed questions related to Newtopia, which centers on a couple trying to reunite amidst a zombie outbreak. It then shifted to more personal questions about handling ex-lovers. When asked how she would handle a breakup, Jisoo was given the choice between “Slowly by reflecting on past memories” or “Getting over it by spending time with good people and enjoying delicious food.” Jisoo immediately chose the latter, clearly stating her preference for moving on in a positive way. This shows she prefers to focus on the present and future rather than dwelling on the past.
