The final episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is almost here, and the show is bringing in some big names to voice the powerful players in the Sendai Colony. With the first part of the Culling Game arc ending, fans are getting ready for an extended finale that introduces three important new characters: Ryu Ishigori, Takako Uro, and the cursed spirit Kurourushi. The voice cast for these roles includes actors with very famous past roles, making this addition a major talking point for viewers.
The announcement arrived alongside a new promotional video focusing on the Sendai Colony, where Yuta Okkotsu faces off against these tough opponents. The final episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 will air on March 26, 2026, as a 27-minute extended special on Japanese television. For international fans, Crunchyroll continues to simulcast the series, allowing viewers in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, India, and other regions to watch shortly after the Japanese broadcast.
Hiroki Tochi Joins as Ryu Ishigori
Hiroki Tochi is the voice behind Ryu Ishigori, a reincarnated sorcerer from the past who becomes a major obstacle for Yuta in the Sendai Colony. Tochi brings a powerful and deep voice to the role, fitting for a character who is obsessed with fighting strong opponents and satisfying his own desires.
Many viewers will recognize Tochi from his long career in anime. He is famously known as the voice of Roronoa Zoro in the legendary series One Piece, a role he has played for over two decades. He also voices Graham Aker in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Mard Geer in Fairy Tail. His experience with action-heavy roles makes him a perfect fit for Ishigori, who is one of the strongest fighters Yuta has to face in the Culling Game.
Commenting on his role, Tochi noted the unique style of his character, saying:
“I am truly delighted to be part of Jujutsu Kaisen, a series with tremendous popularity. Some of you may already know about Ishigori’s pompadour hairstyle, but let me tell you, it is no ordinary pompadour. It is an incredible pompadour. And the ‘dessert’ that Ishigori seeks in life… Please look forward to the broadcast.”
Nana Mizuki Takes on the Role of Takako Uro
Nana Mizuki lends her voice to Takako Uro, another ancient sorcerer reincarnated for the Culling Game. Uro is a fierce fighter who can manipulate the sky itself, making her a dangerous opponent. Mizuki is one of Japan’s most famous voice actors and singers, known for her ability to play strong, complex female characters.
Her career includes iconic roles such as Hinata Hyuga in Naruto and Boruto, Trafalgar Law in One Piece, and Ann Takamaki in Persona 5. She also voices Fate Testarossa in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. Mizuki is also a top-selling singer, having performed theme songs for many of the anime she stars in. Her casting as Uro brings a high level of talent to the role, promising a memorable performance for the character’s intense emotional outbursts.
Mizuki shared her experience recording for the character, mentioning how Uro’s personality influenced her performance:
“I had the pleasure of playing Takako Uro, a very impactful character who possesses a powerful technique that allows her to manipulate the sky and space freely, often appearing almost completely unclothed, and who carries deep hatred born from a tragic past. Although she is a strong character, she expresses all of her emotions directly, making her extremely dynamic. I poured those emotions into my performance as they came to me. There were even moments when my intensity became so strong that I was told, ‘Make her sound a bit younger…’ (laughs). I hope everyone will enjoy seeing her long held emotions explode on screen.”
Yukihiro Nozuyama Voices Kurourushi
Completing the trio of new cast members is Yukihiro Nozuyama, who voices Kurourushi, a powerful cursed spirit that also appears in the Sendai Colony battle. Unlike the other two, Kurourushi is not a reincarnated sorcerer but a curse controlled by Kenjaku. Nozuyama is a veteran voice actor who has been in the industry for many years. He is best known for playing Kimihiro Watanuki in xxxHolic and Ian Dietrich in Attack on Titan. His ability to voice both human characters and monstrous creatures makes him well-suited for the role of Kurourushi.
Nozuyama joked about how different his voice sounds for this character, saying:
“I am the voice of Kurourushi. Surprised? Yes, that is me. Usually people recognize me right away, but this time, I feel like no one has noticed… at least as I write this. Kurourushi is also a creature that prefers shadows and lurking in hiding. As the weather starts to get warmer, please be careful. Otherwise… a swarm of Kurourushi might appear in your home.”
What to Expect in the Sendai Colony Finale
The Sendai Colony is one of the key battlefields in the Culling Game arc. Yuta Okkotsu, the protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, enters this colony to collect points and add new rules to the game. However, he finds himself in a four-way deadlock against Ishigori, Uro, and Kurourushi. Each of these characters has their own goals and motivations, leading to chaotic and fast-paced fights.
The new promotional video for the finale highlights this intense confrontation. It includes scenes of Yuta activating his ring and summoning Rika, along with the destructive techniques of the new characters. The extended runtime of the final episode—27 minutes instead of the usual 23—suggests that the battle will get significant screen time, allowing the animation team at MAPPA to fully display the action.
